Outgoing Call Feature Documentation

Overview

The Outgoing Call features enable automated voice call interactions with users. These features are designed to facilitate dynamic audio content delivery, notifications, or conversational interactions in real-time through AI-powered voice technology.


Voice Trigger Flow Properties

When creating or configuring a voice trigger flow, you must specify several key properties:

Name

  • A required field where you enter the name of the flow.
  • The name should be descriptive to clearly identify the flow’s purpose.
  • Example: calling

Select Model

  • Choose the AI model that will power the voice trigger flow.
  • Available options typically include:
    • GPT-3.5
    • GPT-4
  • GPT-4 is recommended for advanced conversational abilities and nuanced understanding.

Description

  • An optional field where you can add a detailed description of the flow.
  • Useful for documenting the flow’s purpose, key features, or usage notes.

Outgoing Call Configuration

The Outgoing Call feature allows you to set up automated voice calls to users, delivering personalized audio messages or notifications.

Key Fields:

Name

  • Required field for naming the outgoing call configuration.
  • Should reflect the call’s intent or campaign, e.g., “Appointment Reminder.”

Greeting Message

  • Required text area where you enter the message users will hear when they answer the call.
  • This message can be dynamic and personalized using AI-generated content.
  • Provides an opportunity to engage the user or convey important information.

Add Numbers

  • Input field to specify one or more phone numbers to call.
  • You can add multiple numbers by clicking the + Add Phone Number button.
  • Supports dynamic variables via the fx button to insert phone numbers programmatically.

Usage Instructions

  1. Define the Flow Properties: Enter a clear name and select the AI model (GPT-4 recommended) for the voice interaction flow.

  2. Configure Outgoing Call: Provide a descriptive name for the call campaign, craft a compelling greeting message, and specify the phone numbers to be called.

  3. Submit Configuration: Click OK to save and activate the voice trigger and outgoing call setup.

  4. Monitor and Manage: After deployment, monitor call statuses, engagement, and responses through your system’s analytics or logs.

  • Use clear and concise greeting messages to maximize user engagement.
  • Personalize calls using AI-generated dynamic content where possible.
  • Validate phone numbers before adding them to the call list.
